Dan Leon

Dan has been an architect for over 30 years and an artist for rather less, or perhaps more, depending on how you measure it.

A lifelong lover of pencil, and occasionally paint, his work is rooted in observation, memory and a fascination with the built environment.

Working on reclaimed panels and found paper, Dan uses preloved surfaces to capture the places, buildings and details that resonate with him, allowing the history of the material to become part of each piece.

His work has been exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition (2023); the Kilburn Daubers Group Show (2024); Westminster Regeneration at Arbeit Studios (2025); the Bakery Gallery, Portobello Rd (2026) and the CCA Gallery Emerging Artists Exhibition (2026).
